Or Matias is an Israeli composer, pianist, and actor living in NYC. Or has written extensively for theater and dance, and most recently has been serving as the in-house composer for the radio show Israel Story. He is currently working on a musical adaptation of The Wave - the 1967 experiment which turned an entire high school into a proto-fascist movement. Or is the music director for Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812, opening on Broadway this fall at the Imperial Theater. In the summer of 2015 he played the role of Sergei Rachmaninoff in Lincoln Center's production of Preludes at the LCT3 theatre. He has also recently music directed at The Public Theater and A.R.T, and will serve as orchestrator and arranger for the upcoming production of Nickel Mines at the NYMF festival.
