DEVANAND JANKI Dev directed and choreographed the Off- Broadway hit Zanna, Don't! Winner of the Lortel, Callaway & GLAAD Media Awards. Other credits include the shows: Junie B. Jones (Lortel nomination), Cupid & Psyche and Henry & Mudge (Lortel nomination). The Broadway concerts of Funny Girl featuring 16 Fanny Brices including Whoopi Goldberg, Bebe Neuwirth, and Jane Krakowski , the Grammy nominated Hair with Jennifer Hudson and the 20th Anniversary production of Dreamgirls. He conceived and directed the 25th anniversary original cast reunion of A Chorus Line at the Palace Theatre and created the opening number for BC/EFA's Nothing Like a Dame VI, featuring Chita Rivera and 24 other Anitas. Also at Lincoln Center the operas Amahl and the Night Visitors and Babes in Toyland both at Avery Fisher Hall; Anything Goes in concert at the Vivian Beaumont Theater. Regional Theatre: Man of La Mancha (Maltz Jupiter Theatre), The Full Monty (Foothills Theatre), The Scarlet Pimpernel (Gateway Playhouse), the new musical How Can You Run with a Shell on Your Back? (Chicago Shakespeare) and the World Premiere of Andrew Lippa’s Asphalt Beach (AMPT); One Man's Dream II for Tokyo Disney; 9 years as artistic associate for Broadway's annual burlesque show Broadway Bares. He has mounted innumerable star-studded charity events for Broadway Cares and The Actors Fund of America. He has mounted live corporate industrials for Coca- Cola, MAC Cosmetics, Benjamin Moore Paints and Dove. As a performer Dev has appeared on Broadway in Miss Saigon, Cats, The King & I, Side Show and tours of A Chorus Line and West Side Story.
