History
History
| Formerly the Stuyvesant and home of the Yiddish Art Theatre. It became the Phoenix Theatre in 1953. In 1961 it became the Casino East. It was renamed the Eden Theatre in 1969 and the Entermedia Theater in 1977. It currently is a movie house known as the Village East Cinema. |
