At the time this production played the theatre was known as Theatre of St. Peter's Church. The Academy was the producing arm of ANTA (American National Theatre Academy). This production transferred to the Booth Theatre on Broadway on April 19, 1979 and ran for 916 performances. It closed on June 28, 1981.
