At The Public: Caryl Churchill¹s The Skriker (seven Drama Desk Award nominations, including Best Director); Troilus and Cressida; and Silence, Cunning, Exile. At Berkeley Rep: The Life of Galileo, The Beaux¹ Stratagem,Mad Forest. Recent productions include: Blood Wedding (La Jolla); West Side Story ( South Africa). For Caryl Churchill, he most recently directed Light Shining in Buckinghamshire (Royal National Theatre). Artistic Director: Central School of Speech and Drama, London (1988-90). He originated the project about the Romanian Revolution which became Caryl Churchill¹s Mad Forest, which played at the National Theatre (Bucharest), the Royal Court (London), and NYTW (Obie for direction).
