Eric Farber

Personal Information
Eric Farber is a percussionist, designer, and sound artist based in Brooklyn, NY. As a performer, Eric cut his teeth as the house drummer for vaudeville and sideshow acts for nearly a decade. Eric’s “wildly animated” performance and “positively gasp-worthy” percussion design have been featured in a number of Regional and Off-Broadway theater productions, including The Foundry Theatre’s Good Person of Szechwan (Public Theater, LaMaMa, Drama Desk Nomination for Outstanding Music in a Play) and FUTURITY (SoHo Rep/ARS Nova, Mass MoCA, Walker Art Center, A.R.T.). Eric recently toured with Taylor Mac’s 24-Decade History of Popular Music, and is a member of The Ladybug Transistor (Merge Records) and The Lisps (Extropian Records). Eric is currently earning his MFA at Bard College, with a BA from The New School University.
