David Pittu

Personal Information
Prior to Equivocation, David Pittu received the 2009 St. Clair Bayfield Award (honoring the best performance by an actor in a Shakespearean play in the New York metropolitan area) for his work as Feste in Twelfth Night at the Delacorte. He created and starred in What's That Smell: The Music of Jacob Sterling (Outer Critics Circle nominations Best Actor in a Musical, Best Off-Broadway Musical), and received Tony nominations for his work in Is He Dead? and LoveMusik, for which he received an Outer Critics' Circle Award as Outstanding Featured Actor in a Musical.
Other credits include The Coast of Utopia, Stuff Happens, Of Thee I Sing (Encores!), and Celebration and the Room, for which he received Lortel and Drama Desk nominations.
