As a playwright:
Kellie’s one-act My Wife’s Coat won top honors in the 2004 Samuel French Short Play Festival and is currently published in their anthology Off-Off Broadway Festival Series Twenty-Nine.
Girl Talk was given workshop productions at both the 2002 Key West Theatre Festival and in 2004 at The Barrow Group in New York City and was part of The Bay Street Theatre’s 2005 Reading Series.

Once Around the Sun, an original musical for which she wrote the book (and for which her husband Joe Shane together with Robert Morris and Steven Morris are the composer/lyricists) had an off-Broadway production at The Zipper Theatre.
